About Her
I am somewhat extroverted, not overly so, of Irish origin, a bubbly person who is looking for someone special in my life to be my friend! Are you out there?? I went to northern Rhodesia as a youngster of 5 in 1952 a few years later we moved to the then Rhodesia where I completed my schooling. Thereafter began my banking career In 1974 I emigrated to SA with husband and children.i have made South Africa my home ever since .
I love reading, surfing the internet on my computer now and then. And walking my little rescue dog who I adore on Ballito's promenade. She is the light of my life!
I enjoy mediterranean cooking , my stepfather was Greek and my late husband was Italian, I don't eat meat, only fish and chicken and lots of veggies of course.
Music....I love Eagles, Dire Straits and similar and surprisingly above all, Italian pop!
I am still wearing blue jeans and refuse to get old! I think I get on with most people and get to meet a lot of different people in my line of work, I am a part time bookeeper, at the local hospital having retired from the Banking scene after which I became the bursar in three schools over a number of years.
I must say I am not big on the social scene any more as at night I consider it dangerous for a woman to go out on her own in today's world! But I have done a fair amount of travelling over the past years and taken a couple of tours, naturally to Greece and Italy
Lastly I am not much of a TV addict but enjoy a good thriller and watch all the news channels.

on the beach, be considerate and not sit in front of the TV all day watching sport being a couch potato all the time.
